My name is Jeremy Gadd. I am a freelance Web Site and Multimedia designer based in Kilkeel, County Down, Northern Ireland with over 8 years experience. A Sound Design has an international customer base, and has completed work for organisations in countries such as Finland, Switzerland, Dubai, Ireland, England, Northern Ireland, Israel, USA and Australia.
I'm married with 3 children and live in Kilkeel in Northern Ireland. I am passionate musician - guitarist, percussionist, Mandolin player, and experimenting with computer based electronic music. For this I use Steinberg Cubase Studio, FL Studio and Adobe Audition.
my skills
I'm largely self-taught in web and media development but as you can see I do have some actual qualifications that have helped me to lay foundations and have provided a systematic framework from which to move forward. I use a variety of tools in my work. Like any builder or tradesperson you need the right tools for the job. These are some of the tools I use:
- Adobe Dreamweaver
- Adobe Fireworks
- Adobe Flash
These are great visually orientated tools but I am very versatile in using hand coding programming languages such as HTML/XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and PHP.
I make use of Adobe Premiere for video editing mostly for weddings, and have produced short videos for use in live performances.
