I’ve created a new niche directory called Legal Resources Directory. This is an international directory of web sites related to the legal profession and will include lists of law firms, law schools and others.
You can find it at http://legaldirectory.globalsearchdirectory.com/

I have recently created a new niche web links directory targeting the legal and para-legal professional field. Funnily enough it’s called Legal Resources Directory. (Really imaginative with my titles, aren’t I??!!). At the moment it is a subdomain of my popular Global Search Directory and in the same way it is a global directory in that I hope to have links from all over the world.
You can see it at http://legaldirectory.globalsearchdirectory.com. All links are free as a start-up special offer for a limited time.
I’ve just introduced an easier way to get low cost advertising for your web site, using PayPal Recurring Payments. This makes it easier as PayPal handles the billing without you having to do anything. It also means less administration for me. You can unsubscribe at any time if you’re not happy with the service.
The way it works is you get the first month free, and the second and third months are £1.00 per text link. After that it’s £1.50 per month. By signing up you’re getting a whole month’s free advertising and your first 2 months at 33% off the normal price! I can set it to bill you in other currencies if you wish. Just please let me know.
Go to www.globalsearchdirectory.com and look for the box as in the screenshot on this post.
I’m pleased to say that traffic to the Directory has really grown massively over the last few weeks, with a steady increase week by week. Using data about the site from the Alexa ranking system it shows that the Traffic Ranking is currently 455,645. That might not sound great really but when you consider that only a few weeks ago it was over 2 million, you can see that traffic has really grown.
So, what can I conclude from this? Rather than blowing my own trumpet and saying ‘well done’, I can conclude that this growth is due in part to: Ongoing Link Building - the rather tedious process of looking for link exchanges, reciprocal links and listings in Web Directories is vital in building traffic and Link Popularity. So, if you are finding this hard and boring all I can say is keep going! It’s hard work but it pays off. Lastly, don’t get complacent and think that you have arrived. I don’t want my ranking to stay at 455,645.

I have just gone live with my latest web directory. “Not another one”, I hear you say. This one is something of a passion and a business venture rolled into one. How cool is that? (hopefully) making some money out of something you really like.
It’s called Eco Web, and is a directory of web sites dedicated to environmental issues, including Fair Trade, Green Consumerism and Ethical Investment. This new site exists to bring together a variety of web sites, blogs and environmental initiatives across the UK and Ireland dedicated to environmental concerns. There are opportunities to advertise through text ads, banner ads and more.

I have recently created a new web links directory, called A1 Pixel Directory. It’s a visually appealing directory where you can upload a logo, banner or other image which acts as the link to your site.
Take a look at www.a1pixeldirectory.co.uk
I have added the Link Popularity Widget Mod v 1.2 to Global Search Directory. This allows you to see information about a link in the directory, such as Alexa ranking, number of pages indexed by Google, Yahoo and MSN. It also shows if the site is indexed in the DMOZ or Yahoo directories. You can see more about the Mod at www.trsites.com/articles/article-20.html, and
