CD-ROMs are an effective low cost media for getting a message across. On a CD-ROM you can showcase a product or the services you provide and create interactive media with links to web sites for more information. You can make content available for printing off, such as price lists and educational material.
You can add video, music, documents, animations, photos, Powerpoint presentations, searchable databases and more.
A standard CD-ROM contains 650 to 700mb of information, large enough to put several whole books on.
Interactive CD-ROMs are a good way of communicating your message in a digital age.
These can be produced to meet a variety of needs -
- presentations for corporate shows, project launches, exhibitions and meetings;
- educational tools;
- promotional materials;
- music cds with additional content.
Why Use a CD When Blu Ray is around?
CDs are currently more cost effective than DVDs or Blu Ray media especially when you are looking to duplicate large amounts. Also, the cost of Blu Ray players is much higher at present and, therefore, not as many people are using them. CD-ROMs can be played in any computer that has a CD or DVD drive installed.
Recent customers include producing CD-ROMs for a large Health and Social Services Trust and a local youth group.
Examples of My Work:
"Big Bad World" - an interactive CD-ROM created using Macromedia Flash. This was for a project partnership between Coleraine Youth Forum and the Coleraine Community Safety Partnership. The CD was distributed to schools in the Coleraine area to raise awareness of the consequences of Anti-Social Behaviour.
