There was a time when VHS tapes were considered the bees-knees. Maybe you’ve got some of the important milestones in your childrens’ development but your VHS player has given up the ghost. Or you have a Mini DV camcorder but would like to be able to stick the footage in a DVD player or on your computer. I can convert these tape formats into digital signals that can be burnt to CD or DVD. With the phase out of VHS tapes in favour of MiniDV, DVD and emerging technologies such as HDTV now is the time to convert your video tapes onto DVD. Tape Conversion Formats:

How To Order:Initially please phone or e-mail me with the details of what you would like converted and I will get back to you. Local Collection/DeliveryIf you live local to me (ie. Northern Ireland/border regions of the Republic of Ireland) I can give you details of where to go if you want to deliver the tapes to me. I can collect and deliver them to you if you would prefer this but please note that there will be an additional charge based upon distance. Postal ServiceWith this you can simply post your tapes and I will return them with your completed DVD(s). You can have these returned by Recorded delivery if you wish as this ensures that you can claim compensation from the Post Office in the event of any damage or loss. With Recorded Delivery you get (from Royal Mail, not me): Proof of posting Signature on delivery Online confirmation of delivery Up to £39 compensation Postage and Packing CostsIf you live locally to me you have the option to deliver your tapes to me yourself or for me to collect. If you want me to collect then I will need to charge for travel and work time. This also applies to collection of the finished product.
When I have completed the work I will contact you to discuss the method of return. If you want me to post it then I will return it by a Recorded method of posting so that you will have to sign for it. This also means that there is a proof or posting from my end.
Postage costs will vary according to the number of tapes so will be calculated on each individual order. |
